The form includes a hidden anti-spam field that is not visible to visitors and is used only to detect automated submissions; it does not collect any personal information.

Bookings

All session and lodge bookings are made through swimbooker, a third-party booking platform. When you make a booking, the personal and payment information you provide (such as your name, contact details, and payment details) is collected and processed by swimbooker, not by us directly.

We may receive limited booking details from swimbooker (such as your name and session dates) in order to manage your visit to the fishery.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to enquiries sent through the contact form
  • Manage and honour bookings made via swimbooker
  • Maintain the safe and orderly operation of the fishery (for example, knowing who is booked in on a given day)

We do not use your information for marketing emails or newsletters unless you have separately and explicitly agreed to this.

Cookies and Third-Party Content

This website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to help us understand how visitors use the site, and embeds content from other services that may set their own cookies independently of us:

How Long We Keep Your Data

Contact form enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry, and are not stored in a database on this website beyond the email sent to us. Brevo, as the email delivery provider, may retain transactional delivery logs for a limited period in line with its own data retention practices.

Booking-related personal data is retained according to swimbooker’s own retention practices, as they are the party processing that information.
